Hello fellow wiki users. The time has come for voting on the entries of the main Yokai Hunter Contest.
The rules are as follows:
- If you participated, you must vote on all entries that aren't yours. We must keep voting fair and balanced to prevent unfair wins and losses, and anyone who refuses to do so will have their entries immediately disqualified. In addition, if a voter who did not participate in the event refuses to vote on all entries listed, every other vote they made will be disregarded.
- Do not vote for your own ideas. This is immediate grounds for elimination due to being unfair and biased.
- Please explain your thoughts and reasoning for giving your scores and elaborate on them. Write about 3-5 sentences, explaining the aspects of the monster(s) you liked, and provide constructive criticisms on aspects you didn't like (ex. state what you would have done differently). Failure to do so will result in voters who participated in the event having 2 points detracted from their own monster per category (ex. If two people voted on one monster, 12 points in total will be deducted from that monster). Voters who did not participate, but still failed to follow this guideline will have all their votes disregarded.
- No personal attacks against the creators or listing said creators as a reason why you gave your scores, both good and bad. I think this one goes without saying. Failure to follow this rule will result in the offender's votes and entries being disregarded.
The three categories for voting are as follows: Originality, Adaptability, and Design. Each category goes from a score of 0.5 to 5, making for a grand total of 15 points per voter.

The voting period begins today and will end next Monday, March 22nd. The winner of the contest shall receive a render and/or icon of their monster by the artist of choice.

UPDATE: The voting period has been extended to Tuesday, March 23rd. The winner will be announced Wednesday, March 24th. This extension will also apply to the side contest.
UPDATE: After counting the votes, the winner is Ronbun Gransetaur by Pamafa3, with a total of 106 points. Coming in at 2nd place is Dino0310's Takutorii Ko at 102.5 points, and 3rd place is Werequaza86's Kujamros at 100.8 points. Congratulations, Pamafa3! And thank you to everyone who participated!
