Appearance[]
Glavinch are small birds resembling finches with muted red and black plumage, with white highlights in places, their plumage extends over the legs but not the toes but isnt very thick, allowing the birds to follow Glavenus into hotter environments, giving them a slim appearance.
Behaviour[]
Glavinch feed on the many parasites on Glavenus back and so spend most of their time in between the large backplates, where they clean the areas Glavenus cant reach, however they will sometimes leave the back when Glavenus is wandering through its environment to find other insects on surrounding plantlife. When Glavenus is in combat, the birds retreat to the safety of its backplates or into nearby trees and will hide there until the situation has calmed down. This arrangement is mutually beneficial with the Glavenus gaining a useful cleaning service and the Glavinches gaining food and protection from predators.

Ecological Niche[]
Glavinches fear few predators due to being protected by their host Glavenus but will occassionally fall prey to small carnivores if they get lost, They themselves feed on parasites on the Glavenus' back completing their symbiosis.
Habitat Range[]
By living on Glavenus' back the Glavinches can go wherever their host goes but wont venture into harsher environments such as Ingle Isle.
Biological Adaptations[]
Glavinches are coloured to blend into the shell of a Glavenus and have short wide beaks for crushing parasites, Their shorter feathers allow them to follow Glavenus into warmer environments.

- The Glavinch is related to the rare Acidic Glavinch and even rarer Hellblade Glavinch.
- Glavenus can appear in the arena but the Glavinches wont follow it there..
- The Glavinch was created when a badly cropped image of glavenus ended up looking a bit like a bird.
