Mycelium Hills
Description
Name Mycelium Hills
Japanese Name 菌糸ヒルズ
""A colossal, deceased monster of unknown origin whose corpse is now haven for some of the most bizarre fauna in Minegarde. Alongside the masses of giant fungi that can grow as tall as the tallest trees, the area emits a purple and blue glow via the foxfire from the the swarms of fungi. The various water pools have multitudes of different properties within, as well as large amounts of phosphorescence from suspended algae. Even with hard research via the Guild, the deceased monster is completely unknown and has no documents on it - all that's known is that it was possibly large enough to squash giant mountains flat into a mess of debris just by simply treading.""

The Mycelium Hills is an island that was once a colossal monster a long time ago. What remains now is the deceased body and the mass swarmings of saprophytes, consuming and littering each sector of the deceased body with mycelium. This area is characterized by large, tree-sized mushrooms that are bioluminescent due to the extreme levels of foxfire. The terrain ranges from dense fungal forests to vast grassy plains to linear ravines to high altitude ridges that enable a high viewpoint of the entire zone

Mycelium Hills Map By TheElusiveOne

Base Camp: The camp is on a miniature cliffside with the sky having a black hue and the giant mushrooms glowing blue, cyan, turqoise and green. The opposite way of the base camp is a view of the coasts of the island.

Area 1: Past two giant fungi leads to a large, open-ended area with a few giant mushrooms around, a medium sized lake on the left and fields of violet shaded vegetation on the right, Status effect fungi are on the far right and mid-way of the area.

Area 2: An even larger, open-ended area with fields on the right, much more dense levels of giant mushrooms: with taller mushrooms too  match and another medium sized lake on the left.

Area 3: The largest area in the zone with giant mushrooms everywhere alongside dense, levels of violet colored vegetation. Some of the giant mushrooms in this area can be climbed upon and gain access to a higher altitude part of the map. Status effect fungi are sporadically around this area.

Area 4: An area blocked off by a medium sized ravine side on the edge of the map though there is a small sector on the left side that can be climbed upon to view the coasts of the island from that area. There are three medium sized pools placed near each other alongside half-sized giant mushrooms on the edges of the pools.

Area 5: The giant mushrooms in this area shine pink and purple in comparison to blue, an open-ended but also streamlined area that leads into a high altitude ridged sector which requires climbing. The place is littered with Mycelium huts that frequently spawn Mycelians, this can be stopped by hitting and destroying the huts. Once to the top of the high altitude part of the area, unique vegetation with eyes and with large mushrooms present but one center one featuring window-esque holes in it are present alongside navy blue vines, tied around it, shaped as if it was done manually. The coasts and overview of the Mycelium Hills map is viewable here, similarly to the Great Forest overview being viewable through the Great Forest Peaks.
