Nightmare Marshes
Description
Name Nightmare Marshes
Japanese Name ナイトメア湿地
""The Swamp zone is a narrow strip of damp and humid marshlands enveloped in mist, characterized by the presence of caves. These caves, are very cold, so without adequate protection from these extreme temperatures Stamina will be quickly depleted. However, the caves are also a great source of ore, so they are often visited by hunters. One of the best ways to protect against the cold is by consuming a Hot Drink. You can also counter-act the cold by wearing armor with high heat retention. Due to the high humidity in the region, there are a large variety of mushrooms that can be gathered. For instance, Toadstools and Nitroshrooms are said to be quite abundant in the region. Due to their ability to be combined with many things, these mushrooms are considered a necessity for every hunter. When night arrives in the Swamp zone, poisonous gases rise from the ground, meaning all who set foot in the zone are subject to psoning. It has also been confirmed that vast numbers of poisonous monsters such as Iopreys and Gypceros have been sighted. Those entering the Swamp zone should prepare counter-measures against poison.""

Nightmare Marshes Map by TheElusiveOne

Base Camp: A muddy shoreline with many lilypads, one large enough to be walked on, the Veggie Elder wanders around here.

Area 1: A grassy road with some trees, Melynx, Tarictus, Gigaprey and Kelbi are commonly seen around here.

Area 2: A grassy field crossed by a small stream of water, Large Monsters commonly come here to sleep when injured.

Area 3: A big cave with a large crystal formation, herbivores usually roam this area.

Area 4: A muddy large section between cliffs, many Large Monsters commonly pass by, usually filled with many small monsters.

Area 5: A muddy opening with a view of a large river, Ioprey, Wroggi and Bullfango are common here.

Area 6: A muddy zone with many trees and a cave entrance, the ground here is particularly uneven. Features a fairly open underwater section. A wrecked ship can be seen under the lakebed.

Area 7: A long cove with a wide view of the sky, some monsters come here to sleep.

Area 8: A wide open area filled with high wheat-like grass, many Flying Wyverns and Bird Wyverns favor this area.

Area 9: medium sized cave commonly inhabited by cave dwellers, such as Akura Jebia and Khezu

Area 10: A high-altitude ridge above the swamp, filled with various puddles. During the night when thunderstorms occur, lightning sometimes strike this area. This allows Kuarusepusu to shift from light to lightning.

Area 11: A large cave with an enormous amount of crystal formations: scattered around the map. These can be triggered to enact crystal explosions via Akura Jebia and be used to shift fom lightning to light via Kuarusepusu. They can also be used by Jade Barroth which doesn't have snow or ice present on its back so it waddles in the crystal formations and inflicts crystallization instead of snowman (Exclusive to the Nightmare Marshes).

Area 12: A massive open area filled with high wheat-like grass, ridged formations can be spotted here, many monsters visit here.

Area 13: A large underwater area with several small spyres coming from the ground, vast majority of underwater monsters tend to come here.
