The Arid Jungle is a jungle region that is located near the village: Mayaza and it is the first area you visit in Monster Hunter World: Demons Abode. It features a combination of lush environments amongst the trees along with an arid feel amongst the rocky parts of the locale. At night, the sky within the locale is a dark orange colour.

Hazards[]
- Geysers: Within the Geyser fields, geysers will occasionally burst out before fading, if the hunter is on top of these when it happens, the hunter will be thrown extremely high into the air and have had a lot of damage dealt to them. This can be utilised to the hunters advantage when fighting a monster, a monster small enough such as a Utahn-Ya-Ku will be forced high up into the air before crashing down like a meteor. Note: Gariyatodus is not affected by this.
- Falling Ruins: Ruins such as broken walls and rooftops can fall on the hunter if they make contact with them, this can deal a good amount of damage, although it can be utilised to the hunters advantage when fighting a monster.
