Acklashi is a Neopteron.

Physiology[]

Acklashi greatly resembles a Praying Mantis. It is green in color, with a white underbelly. It has six highly developed legs. These legs are very large and long, making up the majority of its body. Its back is supported in the air by its legs, and covered in a large spiny shell that is very resistant to damage unless it is wounded. Its head is connected to a short neck, and has two small blue eyes on either side. Its jaws are large and contains a multitude of sharp spikes.

Behavior[]

Acklashi is extremely aggressive and territorial, and will pursue intruders relentlessly. They have extremely short tempers as well, becoming violently angry from the slightest provocation. They live in forests, swamps, and mountains, and will scour these areas in search of prey nonstop. All of this makes Acklashi considered a nuisance, and many tend to avoid their habitats because of their presence alone.

Abilities[]

Acklashi are notorious for their incredible physical strength, owed mostly to their brutally strong legs. These legs are used to crush, stab, and mutilate their opponents. They can even jump great heights, run at high speeds, and climb with them. This alone makes them infamous, but they also have one more trick up their sleeve. Their bodies contain a strong paralyzing agent, that they can spit out of their mouths with precision. Because of all of this, Acklashi is considered the rival apex of the Deciduous Woods.

"Hello There!": Upon spotting a Hunter, the Acklashi will jump towards them and let out a piercing shriek.
Leg Stab: The Acklashi will raise one of its legs and stab it towards the target.
Leg Swipe: The Acklashi will raise a leg and sweep it in front of it in an attempt to hit multiple targets.
Bite: The Acklashi will open its mouth wide and bite the target.
Bear Hug: The Acklashi will raise two of its legs and sweep them into itself, aiming to hit a target with them.
High Jump: The Acklashi will hiss, and then jump high into the air, aiming to land on top of the target.
Paralyzing Spit: The Acklashi will step back, and spit out a yellow projectile at a target. Inflicts Paralysis.
Quadruple Stab: The Acklashi will raise its two front legs, and then stab the ground four times, moving forward with each one.
Super Spin: The Acklashi will let out a distinctive shriek, and then quickly spin in place, knocking hunters away.
Body Slam: The Acklashi will rear up on its back legs and slam onto the ground in front of it, aiming to crush the target.
Sextuple Kick: The Acklashi will kick to the side with its left three legs, and then its right three legs.

Insectoid Fury: Upon entering rage mode, the Acklashi will stomp the ground three times, raise its head, and let out a long wailing shriek.
Triple Paralysis Shot: The Acklashi will shoot out three globs of paralyzing liquid from left to right or right to left.
Leg Sweeps: The Acklashi will rush forward while swinging its front legs in front of itself.
Back Jump: The Acklashi will jump back a great distance. Often used to get away from targets.
Sixfold Crush: The Acklashi's signature attack. It will let out a distinctive screech, and then shoot out a large projectile of paralyzing liquid. If a target is hit by this, it will then jump high into the air and land on top of them with all six of its legs held together in a drill like shape, dealing massive damage.

Turf Wars[]

Hirvelka: The Acklashi will hiss while the Hirvelka lets out a threatening whistle. The Hirvelka will then rush into the Acklashi with its antlers, which the Acklashi will easily block. It will then raise one of its legs and crush the Hirvelka, followed by it stabbing it two times, dealing 2000 damage. (Outcome: Win)

Anjanath/Fulgur Anjanath: The Anjanath will roar while the Acklashi hisses. The Brute Wyvern will rush forward and attempt to bite the Acklashi, but it will jump away at the last minute. It will then jump on top of the Anjanath, pinning it down, and deliver a powerful bite to its head, dealing 2000 damage. (Outcome: Win)

Rathalos/Azure Rathalos: The two will roar at each other. The Acklashi will make the first move, jumping on top of the Flying Wyvern and stabbing it relentlessly, dealing 2000 damage. The Rathalos will then take to the air, shake the Acklashi off of it, and then shoot a fireball down at it, dealing 2000 damage as well. (Outcome: Tie)
